North Carolina HOSA is the state chapter of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, an organization dedicated to supporting students interested in healthcare careers. It serves middle school, high school, and postsecondary/collegiate students, offering a range of activities designed to promote career opportunities in the medical field and enhance healthcare delivery. Through its various programs and recognition systems, NC HOSA plays a significant role in nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals in North Carolina, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the medical field. 

South Lenoir's HOSA chapter members are active within their communities and school. The SL HOSA chapter hosts two blood drives a year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
